Mustangs earn 2nd place at Regional GOT MILK Tournament - Scott Langlois, 08/27/2004
The Mustangs are Orlando -
bound to compete in the National Tournament.
I want to congratulate the Mustangs for a great weekend of soccer. Last weekend
we traveled to Philadelphia for the Got Milk 3v3 regional tournament. The
Mustangs played 7 games over the weekend and earned a silver medal after a tough
loss to a team out of Long Island, NY in the championship game. We will be
heading to Orlando to compete in the National tournament in January.
Good Luck
St. Jane Mustangs Take The Silver
- Scott Langlois, 07/29/2004
The St. Jane Mustangs played in the National 3v3 Got Milk tournament last
weekend. This was a two day tournament that hosted many teams throughout
Maryland and surrounding areas. The Mustangs went undefeated throughout the
tournament but lost in the championship game 5 - 4 and took home the silver
medal. We did however qualify for the regional tournament in Philadelphia that
will take place in August. Great job mustangs and good luck in Philly!
County Coaches VS Clinic Coaches - Jeannie Langlois, 6/22/2004
County coaches took on the Clinic Coaches in the bi-annual Coach's Game on Friday, 6/18 at Tick Neck 3. The County coaches walked away victorious 2-0. Rain hampered play toward the end of the game, so score protests are possible. Unfortunately, there is only one Clinic member on the SJS Board of Directors, so most likely the protest will fall on deaf ears. Lot's of fun was had by all.
U5 Mini-Mustangs - Coach Jeannie Langlois, 6/22/2004
The Mini-Mustangs had a great season. Its great to see six kids who never played soccer before get out there and play the way they did.I am especially proud of Sara Michelle Gellert for coming out of her shell and playing like a little champ every game. Bryce Bush was a one man soccer team. He will make a great athlete in any sport. I am proud of him for trying his best to let other teammates score, even though it killed him (and his mother) not to score himself. Jake Beitle was another huge team asset. He hustled every game and really got the hang of the game quick. Erika Gebhard is a natural soccer player, but you wouldnt know it if you saw her first game in which she cried the whole game and never even went in. After that she was playing just like her Mustang brother Derek. Nathan Klassmeyer really came out of his shell too. During practices Nathan was pretty shy but during the games he played soccer like you wouldnt believe. Nathan even got himself a few goals. And last but not least, Sydney (lay on the ground) Langlois. Sydney came on strong the first game and scored a goal then she surprised the whole team by not following in HER Mustang brother Ryan's footsteps. Sydney showed us who's boss by walking off the field and going to play at the park during the game. If anyone was bored Sydney was there to entertain them. You never knew what she'd do next!! I will miss my mini's this summer but i hope to see all of you in the fall.

Boys Division 2 U-10 Ravens - Coach Tony Davenport, 6/14/2004
The Ravens played an incredible season this year with a record of 3-1-4. This team loves come backs and spoiling leads. The team showed amazing character at the Baltimore Classic Tournament, and despite having been beaten, played their best on games 3 and 4 to come within 1 goal of a wins. Everyone on the team contributed to the great season, and all of the players said they had a great time. Special thanks goes out to Tom Wheeler (Asst. Coach) and Team Mom Kathy Buss for keeping the wheels on the Ravens train rolling.

SJS U8 Scorpions - Coach Scott Khoury, 11/14/2003
As the team mom I was blessed with the opportunity to socialize with many of the parents this season. I must say thank you to all of them. The majority of the parents were exceptionally supportive of the coaching staff and just plain wonderful to have around....always willing to help me out in any way needed. Many Thanks. The players were the greatest gift of all. By the end of the season I felt like a real mom to some of them. They have hearts of gold and loved being out there. Not too shabby at the LF tournament either, 1W-1L-1T. I just wanted to say I loved being the team mom for the past two seasons and as the kids go off to County in the Spring I wish them all the luck. Don't forget all the things Coach Scott and Coach Wendy taught you. I'm going to miss you all....players and parents. Ms. Terry
